User Agreement
This is the same agreement shown in the Moose app. Park City Rides is the licensed TNC. Moose is how you book the ride. Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
About Moose
“Moose” is the official ride-ordering application of Park City Rides. Moose is not an independent transportation service or separate provider. It is the technology platform used to request, schedule, manage, and pay for transportation services provided through Park City Rides, a registered transportation network company.
Our approach to extra charges
Extra charges are uncommon and only apply under fair, transparent policies explained in this agreement. You’ll see any cancellation fee before you confirm. Other charges are reviewed and communicated when applicable. Our goal is fair pricing with no surprise fees.
Ride price and payment
The amount shown when you book is the Expected rate, not a guaranteed final fare. If the ride occurs at a materially different time than booked, Park City Rides LLC may review and adjust the final fare up or down to reflect the actual service timing. You authorize Park City Rides LLC to charge your saved payment method for the final ride total, including any time-based charge permitted below. Tips remain optional. Card processing is deducted from the tip paid out to the driver.
Airport curb wait
For an airport arrival pickup, you have a 40-minute grace period after the flight’s actual arrival to reach the curb. After that grace period, $7 applies for each 10-minute period of additional wait. Partial 10-minute periods are charged.
Departure pickup wait
For an airport departure pickup, the first 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time are free. If you are not ready by the 10-minute mark, $7 applies. Another $7 applies every 10 minutes after that (20 minutes, 30 minutes, and so on).
Drive-time overage
If traffic or weather causes the ride to finish 15 minutes or more after the anticipated drop-off time, $7 applies at the 15-minute mark and another $7 applies every 10 minutes after that (25 minutes, 35 minutes, and so on). Time under 15 minutes is not charged. Driver-caused delays do not qualify.
Cancellation fees
Cancellation is free when no driver is assigned and for qualifying early cancellations. A fee may increase as pickup approaches. The app will show the applicable fee before you confirm a cancellation.
Damage and exceptional cleaning
If a rider causes damage or a cleaning need beyond ordinary use, the driver may submit a documented report. Park City Rides LLC reviews the evidence before deciding whether a charge is warranted and notifies the rider of the outcome.
Phone verification and messages
You agree to receive service-related verification codes and ride updates at the mobile number you provide. Standard message and data rates may apply.
